Our Belief:
Flourish Therapy Collective was founded on a simple but powerful belief: every child is capable.
We exist to support children with communication and developmental needs through therapy that honors who they are—never who they’re expected to be. Our care is built on connection, curiosity, and compassion. We presume competence, celebrate individuality, and work alongside families as trusted partners.
Chesney Walker, M.S., CCC‑SLP
Founder
I currently work as a speech-language pathologist in the schools, where I serve children with a wide range of needs - from articulation and phonological disorders, to expressive and receptive language delays, to students with moderate to severe disabilities (MSD). I’m especially passionate about supporting children who use or could benefit from Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC), and helping every child discover the most meaningful way to share their thoughts, wants, and personality with the world.
My daily work in the schools keeps me closely connected to teachers, specialists, and families — and it’s shown me the power of collaboration and whole-child care. These experiences have shaped my philosophy: to always presume competence, to celebrate each child’s unique strengths, and to make therapy feel warm, individualized, and truly functional for real life.
At Flourish Therapy Collective, I bring this same team-based, compassionate approach to children and families after school hours. I strive to create a space where every child can feel heard, valued, and supported to reach their fullest potential.
